About Us

Kapitbayan Filipino-American Association, Inc. (KFAAI) is a vibrant community organization dedicated to fostering unity, preserving Filipino heritage, and supporting Filipino-Americans in Chester County, PA, and surrounding areas. Founded in 2009, we provide a welcoming space for Fil-Am individuals and families to celebrate their culture, connect with one another, and contribute meaningfully to both local and global communities.

At KFAAI, our mission is to bring Filipino culture and heritage to our members and the broader community. Through engaging events, cultural presentations, and outreach initiatives, we strive to promote understanding, support those in need, and build lasting connections.

What We Do:

  • Annual Celebrations: We host two major community events each year—the Summer Picnic and the Christmas Gala, where members and the community come together to celebrate, share traditions, and strengthen bonds.
  • Cultural Enrichment: We showcase Filipino history and traditions through artifacts, language, song, dance, and food, ensuring our heritage remains alive for future generations.
  • Community Support: We assist fellow organizations, local charities, and victims of natural disasters in the Philippines, offering aid and solidarity.
  • Guidance for Fil-Ams: We provide support to Filipino-Americans adjusting to life in the U.S., offering resources and guidance to ease their transition.
  • Advocacy & Outreach: Acting as a link between our community and the Philippine Consulate in New York City, we help facilitate communication and access to essential services.

Join Us! Whether you’re looking to connect with fellow Filipino-Americans, celebrate cultural traditions, contribute to meaningful causes, or want to learn more about the Philippines,  KFAAI welcomes you!
